Discipleship doesn’t just take place on Sundays! FBC has multiple opportunities for fellowship, Bible Study, prayer, sharing, and relationship building each week. Check out the various ways for you to connect through a small group setting.
Fiber Arts Group – The fiber arts group meets on the fourth Monday of every month at the Hastings’ house from 6-7:30pm. Whether you knit, crochet, weave, or embroider, you’re welcome to come for an evening of stitching and conversation! Contact: Gabrielle Hastings (920) 904-4857
Koinonia Class – The “Koinonia” Small Group is composed of working and retired friends. The word “koinonia” is defined as “fellowship, sharing in common, communion with other believers, with Jesus Christ”. Our studies include published study materials, books, and other references—selected collectively through our group discussions, with shared leadership within Koinonia. We all participate in fellowship with each other and invite guests to join us for numerous social activities and gatherings, in addition to our Sunday Class study. All are welcome in Koinonia and loved!
Jazz Class – A small group of predominately young adults, currently studying the book of James and how it applies to everyday life. Meets Sunday mornings in the FBC Library from about 11:30 to 12:30.
Pathfinder Class – The Pathfinders class consists primarily of senior adults who meet regularly on Sunday morning to discuss material explored in the Formations Study Guide based on selected Bible passages from the New Revised Standard Version. The passages and commentary are designed to reflect Christian reactions and applications to life in the 21st Century. The lively discussions are led by individuals who are also members of the class.
Vespers Worship Service – Part worship service, part small group, this gathering meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm for worship and an interactive devotional. Those who wish are welcome to stay for a shared meal following worship.
Zoom Class – Meets online Sunday evenings from 6-7pm. An open class for anyone who would like to more deeply explore the scripture and theme of that Sunday. Participants are invited to bring their observations and questions relating to the scripture, sermon and topic. Join by clicking the ‘Zoom’ link on our website
