Coffee and Conversation

Coffee and Conversation

Before and after our worship time, we set out light breakfast items like coffee and baked goods for adults and snacks for kids in our narthex/entryway. We want everyone at our Bloomington Normal church to feel welcome, and we know food and conversation go hand in hand!

Getting to know each other

If you’re new to our Bloomington Normal church, this is the perfect time for members and visitors to get to know each other. What better way to meet people than over a soothing cup of coffee?

Talking with the Pastor

Got a question about faith, theology, or about our Bloomington Normal church? Stop to say hello to the pastor after worship in the Narthex!

FBC’s pastor will glad to meet you, answer questions or set up a time to meet during the week if you’d like.  Please don’t hesitate to drop in to say hello!

A Good First Step

Attending one of our worship services on Sunday morning, Wednesday evening, or even participating in our Sunday service online is a great first step.  Or maybe you have a child in our LOGOS program on Wednesday evening.  What’s the next step?

Email us at secretary@fbcblm.org to sign up for our weekly ‘eLink’ newsletter to become aware of events, small groups and mission opportunities coming up, or to request a monthly print newsletter be sent you in the mail.

If you are interested in going deeper, consider coming to our guest class, offered roughly four times a year, where we have an opportunity to share our stories, ask questions about the church, and learn about American Baptists and what makes FBC tick, all while sharing a meal together.   If you prefer, we are glad to set up a personal meeting during the week at your convenience.
