Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Sermon Series: Resurrect Me

It is the Easter season! It is called, Eastertide.
When we celebrate bunnies and the few bulbs that are sprouting up in our yard. No. That is not it. Let’s get more spiritual. Easter is the time we honor that guy, a long time ago, who was dead but then was resuscitated.  No. That is not it either.

If you want to know the deeper issues of which Easter speaks, longing to be re-created yourself, longing for re-creation of this world and our part in it, then join us for a three-week series during Eastertide entitled, “Resurrect Me.”

Sermon Series: The Gospel of Mark

We want you to experience the life of Jesus as it unfolds in the Gospel of Mark. Come and hear first hand, Jesus’ call for renewal and repentance to the crowds then and the crowds, today.

Sermon Series: Christmas Is Not Your Birthday

Series Summary: What a way to celebrate Jesus! Gifts for you and me. Throughout this sermon series, we hope to move beyond our own wish lists to consider the wish list of Jesus. The one who came to proclaim release to the captives, sight for the blind, and who still has much to say today. That is when the church begins to speak. So, speak loudly this Christmas by putting away your lists and instead beginning to fill out Jesus’ wish list.

Sermon Series: Consecration Sunday

Sermon Series: Knowing Another’s Name

Series Summary: Names and naming play a critical role in the beginning of Scripture. Still today, names and naming play a critical role in our self-image, in our images of God, and in our images of our neighbor. By looking at stories of Ruth, the foreigner, God, as Steadfast Love, and Jacob the Wrestler, we hope that you uncover a name that God calls you. A name that you can trust and hear beyond the names that each of us carry – yet need to let go.

Sermon Series: The Kingdom of God

Series Summary: When Jesus began his ministry, he began with the words, “Repent and Believe the Kingdom of God is at hand.” What did he mean? What was he proclaiming? Where is this Kingdom? Has it come? We hope that with this series, you will better understand the roots of the Kingdom of God, present in Exodus Chapters 19-20 that came alive in the life of Jesus. We hope that this kingdom is at hand in us!
